Hello, I'm Caroline, a fully qualified MBACP Humanistic Counsellor.  I proudly work with clients of all cultures, ethnicities & sexual orientations. I'm a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and The Black African & Asian Therapy Network (BAANT).

I work online  with clients both within the UK and overseas

via Zoom. I also offer 'Walk, Talk & Refresh' outdoor therapy sessions in Southampton, Portsmouth, Fareham & Lee-on-Solent.

I can support you with issues surrounding:

Adoption, Abuse, Anger, Anxiety, Asylum, Bereavement, Climate change, Colourism, Chronic illness, Disability, Employment, Gender, Identity, Intimacy, LGBTQ+, Life transitions, Loss, Menopause, Neurodiversity, Racial identity, Relationships, Self-esteem, Self-worth, Sexuality, Sex, Stress & Transgender.

How could your professional support help me?

Do you need someone to speak to?

Are you struggling to cope?

Do you feel lost or unable to see a way forward?

Do you want to process difficult life experiences?

Do you need to make positive life changes?

Then I can help.

As a fully qualified integrative counsellor, I work with my clients by acknowledging that they are indeed human! I offer them the time and space they need to process  and work through their life experiences. Everybody deals with life differently and I firmly believe that there isn't a 'one-way' approach when working with clients. As your counsellor, I will listen to you without any form of judgement,  discrimination or prejudice. You can take as long as you need to work through your issues, one step at a time and I will walk the journey with you, every step of the way.

My professional qualification in Humanistic Counselling was undertaken at the University of Chichester. My counselling experience includes counselling within the education and charity sectors. Alongside my private work, I lead the patient counselling service at the Sommerville Heart Foundation.

From past clients....

"I started to see Caroline specifically for help dealing with loss, but what I didn't realise at the time was how much I needed her help to confront a whole host of other issues I'd been hiding from. It's been hard and I've still got a long way to go however with Caroline's guidance, I'm slowly starting to become a person I want to be and I'm finally getting some sort of control over my life.

I look forward to sessions with Caroline, as it's really the only time I feel safe enough to truly express myself without the risk of upsetting anyone and I always come away feeling like a weight has been lifted. I cannot recommend Caroline enough!"
